    JOB SUMMARY

    Denman Linen Services, Inc. is a high performing production based facility processing a wide range of high quality linen products. Denman Linen supports hospitals/clinics across the tri-state region.

     

    This position is a hybrid position that will be called upon to perform a variety of warehouse duties in support of Denman Linen Services to ensure all linens are appropriately distributed to and from the plant to the customers.

     

    This position will be responsible for ensuring the loads are being entered in the data system timely and accurately. The position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks with carts full of linen products with the use of a forklift or manually. The position is responsible for the covering and wrapping of carts, loading, and moving carts as needed to the dock area, keeping work area clean, and other duties to meet plant and customer needs. The position must be able to move carts with a force of 40 pounds. Additionally, this position will function as a driver and will move trucks as needed, such as between various dock doors, to/from a place of repair, fueling, etc. This position will also serve as a backup driver for the routine route drivers.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Training/Experience:

    REQUIRED:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Time management skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Solid interpersonal relationship skills

    + Basic computer skills

    + Must know and obey all traffic laws and practice safe driving skills

    PREFERRED:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Two to Three (2-3) years of Forklift Experience

    License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

    + OHSA Forklift Certificate (can be acquired with on the job training and must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment)

    + One year of truck driving experience

    + Commercial drivers license with air brakes and heavy lifting required

    Pay Status:

    Non-Exempt Hourly
