We are looking for an experienced Access Management Specialist to join our Northwest team. This position will directly assist the Transportation teams. As a Senior Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to work in one of our Northwest offices and be responsible for supporting project/program activities, working in conjunction with Project/Program Engineers and Managers. You’ll play a critical role in the success of our project teams by evaluating designs, developing strategies, coordinating with public and government officials and preparing documentation for access impacts and modifications. Using your experience, you’ll be comfortable interfacing with project managers, engineers, technical staff, sub-consultants and clients. You’ll be able to work with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, use independent judgment, and have the initiative to take on new tasks and challenges. You’ll use your experience-based judgment to evaluate situations and develop solutions and work with minimal oversight to achieve assignment outcomes and manage their own workload. Your work is frequently complex, proprietary, and confidential, and requires strong administrative skills as well as needs excellent inter-personal and team communication skills.
We'll Expect You To:
* Review designs to evaluate access impacts
* Coordinate with property owners, government officials and design team members
* Work with design team members implement effect access management strategies
* Coordinate progress and meet project deadlines
* Work with sub-consultants and clients
* Manage correspondence related to the Access Management Methodology, Strategy and Narrative
* Basic understanding of Oregon regulations and requirements relating to public and private accesses to state facilities
* Ability to coordinate with property owners, government officials, and engineering teams
* Adept at taking responsibility for multiple assignments, prioritizing conflicting tasks, and working with little supervision to meet deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on a highly professional level with clients and internal team members
* Ability to work well independently and on a team
* Ability to work with, and take direction from, multiple levels of professional staff
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
