Android Developer (Onsite)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Android Developer with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

Roles & Responsibilities:

+ 5+ years of Software Development experience with architecting, designing, and developing Android mobile applications

+ 4 + years Android (Kotlin and Jetpack) development experience

+ 3+ years of mobile solutions engineering experience

+ 2+ years’ experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of both

+ Strong experience in design, code, test, debug, and document for projects implementations

+ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

+ Knowledge and understanding of application and web security

+ Knowledge and understanding of technology performance: analysis and tuning for applications.

+ Kotlin

+ Android

+ Java

+ 4 + years Android (Kotlin and Jetpack) development experience

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,372K – $114,000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
