Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Director of Purchasing to lead our purchasing and procurement operations. This role is central to the continued success of our production goals and requires a proactive leader who thrives in a hands-on, highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee all purchasing and procurement activities across standard and specialty machine production

+ Maintain relationships with current vendors

+ Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to anticipate material needs and align with production timelines

+ Implement purchasing strategies that support quarterly equipment production targets of $6.5 million

+ Improve performance and utilization of the Epicor ERP system to optimize workflow and efficiency

+ Maintain appropriate levels of safety stock without inflating inventory

+ Serve as a direct contact point for employees across departments, reflecting our open, flat management culture

Essential Skills

+ 10–20 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Deep knowledge of engineering workflows, production planning, and project management

+ Proven ability to develop vendor relationships and anticipate supply needs

+ Familiarity with Epicor ERP or similar systems, with a track record of process improvement

+ Adaptable, culturally aligned professional able to integrate smoothly into existing structures without overhauling current processes

+ Strong communication and decision-making skills, capable of earning trust across multiple departments

Work Environment

This role requires working on-site five days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

-Company offers flexible benefits package-Off all major holiday's as well as the day after Thanksgiving and Good Friday.
