    Job Description Summary

    This role is part of Grid Solutions’ Engineering Graduate Program—a fast-track leadership development initiative designed to grow the next generation of engineering talent by building technical expertise, operational skills, and leadership capabilities.

     

    Over a 24-month period with four rotations, you will work across different engineering departments and functions within GE Grid Solutions, including areas such as Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), High Voltage Switchgear (HVS), Power Transformers, and Grid Automation. Each rotation is tailored based on business needs, your technical background, and your personal aspirations. Opportunities for international exposure may also be available, reflecting the global footprint of our operations.

     

    The program features premium technical training led by industry experts, alongside one-on-one mentoring with a senior technical leader to support your professional and personal development.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    As a participant in the program, you will:

    + Work with cross-functional teams on various engineering activities, including:

    + Design and simulation

    + Engineering studies and technical analysis

    + System and product testing

    + Gain hands-on experience through:

    + Laboratory-based assignments

    + Commissioning support at global project sites

    + Collaborate with fellow graduate engineers worldwide on a group project, where you will:

    + Design, execute, and present your work to executive leadership

    + Develop skills in project management, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement

    + Strengthen both technical expertise and business acumen

    Requirements:

    + Bachelors Degree from an Accredited University (We are looking for fresh graduates) in related engineering fields, such as power electrical, electronic, controls or mechanical engineering.

    + 1 year of knowledge of power systems, power electronics, high voltage engineering, Matlab/Simulink, Creo, Ansys, PSCAD or AutoCAD or C/C++ Embedded/Real-time development experiences would be an advantage.

    Desired Characteristics:

    + Masters Degree Preferred

    + Self-motivating, proactive and results driven approach

    + Problem-solving and root cause identification skills

    + Willing to listen, learn and support the development

    + Able to work to deadlines with good quality

    + Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal

     

    The salary range for this position is 79,400.00 - 99,200.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. 79,400.00 - 99,200.00 - 119,000.00 USD Annual
