    Job Title: Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator, where you will be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system. You will monitor external factors such as weather and traffic to optimize the routing of resources and resolve transportation conflicts. Your role will also include handling customer relations and providing exceptional support to maximize satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    + Take orders, schedule deliveries, dispatch drivers, and manage customer relations effectively.

    + Maintain efficient delivery controls through accurate order entry and optimized routing.

    + Monitor external factors such as weather and traffic to ensure optimized routing of resources.

    + Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints.

    + Provide customer support to ensure maximum satisfaction.

    + Employ problem-solving techniques to resolve complex issues.

    + Develop professional criteria for engaging other parties when necessary.

    + Communicate positively and effectively with customers and other departments.

    + Successfully handle over 100 calls in a shift.

    + Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve team and company goals.

    + Multi-task and complete daily workload efficiently and timely.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in dispatching, data entry, and call center operations.

    + Logistics experience with a focus on routing drivers

    + Proficiency in live-time communication and detour routing.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

    + Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing); bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate's degree or concrete dispatch experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

    + Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This will requires working on-site, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm in Deerfield Beach, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
