The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for full-time Teacher Aides (multiple positions) at Munn Elementary School, Cosgrove Middle School, and Spencerport High School. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. Civil Service: Non-competitiveDuties: May include providing assistance to student(s) with disabilities under the supervision of the classroom teacher(s) or providing assistance in the general education setting, or other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: High School or Equivalency Diploma, plus either:1 year paid or volunteer full time equivalent experience working with children, or1 year paid or volunteer full time equivalent experience with clerical duties, orCombination of the aforementioned experience, orPossession of a certificate of completion of a course of Child Care through an occupational school, The American Red Cross or similar AgencySuccessful completion of one (1) year of college education beyond high school (minimum of 30 credit hours) may be substituted for the one (1) year of experience.Appointment: 10 monthsHours: 6 - 6.5 hours per daySalary/Rate of Pay: $16.66 - $16.93 per hour, based on experience.Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision; paid leave time including sick, family, personal and paid holidays; NYS Pension and retirement health insurance benefits.Start Date: Tuesday, September 2,2025Apply By: Friday, August 1, 2025To Apply:Click on the "Apply" button in the upper right-hand corner to complete an application or log in with an existing account.
