    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you will play a vital role in supporting installations, new launches, and special or capital projects. You will be responsible for the execution of engineering strategies and new product launches, developing priorities and objectives in cooperation with site management teams, and overseeing their implementation. Your efforts will drive continuous improvements throughout the plant, focusing on scrap and downtime reduction. Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with project management to support installations, new launches, and special or capital projects.

    + Execute engineering strategies and oversee new product launches.

    + Develop priorities and objectives with site management teams and oversee their implementation.

    + Drive continuous improvements throughout the plant to reduce scrap and downtime.

    + Utilize Solidworks and CAD for design and engineering tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in process improvement.

    + Proficiency in Solidworks.

    + Experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.

    + Experience in project management and PLC programming.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous Co-Ops/Internships in a manufacturing setting.

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology.

    + PLC programming experience.

    + Experience in automotive manufacturing engineering.

    + Robotics troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.

    Work Environment

    This position operates primarily on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on consultant needs. Expect to spend 80% of your time on the manufacturing floor and 20% in the office. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment, though some facility areas are not temperature controlled. You may need to sit or stand for extended periods, occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, and walk 10,000+ steps daily. Steel-toed boots are required on the manufacturing floor. The ability to work 40-50 hours per week to support new product launches is necessary, and up to 5% domestic and international travel may be required.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.47/hr.
