• Security Installation Technician

    Actalent (Newport News, VA)


    Overview:

    We are currently hiring for 2 Security Installation Technicians and/or CCTV Technicians for our client supporting Hampton Roads and Williamsburg.

    Description:

    + Will be installing and servicing IP Cameras/Surveillance systems and security systems/access control for clients around the Hampton Roads market.

    Qualifications:

    + Experience installing/servicing IP surveillance systems.

    + Applicable Industry/manufacturer training.

    + Familiarity with construction techniques.

    + Computer and networking experience.

    + Own basic industry tools.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Desire to learn and grow.

    + Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be versatile.

    Preferred:

    + Experience with Hanwha/Samsung/Axis is a plus.

    + Experience installing/servicing Intrusion Detection Systems is a plus.

    + Experience installing/servicing Access Control Systems is a plus.

    + Experience with structured cabling and/or AV is a plus

    Additional Information:

    + 2 openings.

    + 1st shift.

    + Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr based on experience.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
