    Endoscopic Technician PRN Day Shift GI Lab

     

    Texas Health Southwest seeks to hire an Endoscopic Technician PRN GI Lab to work as needed in the Endoscopic Services department.Location: Work Schedule: Monday-Friday PRN varied days **Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures** * Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient.* Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures* Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures.* Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk

    Education

    Experience

    1 Year GI clinical or hospital experience Pref

     

    Licenses and Certifications

     

    CNA - Certified Nurses Aide Upon Hire Pref Or

     

    MA - Medical Assistant Upon Hire Pref Or

     

    EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Upon Hire Pref And

     

    BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
