    We are seeking a full-time Interior Designer with experience in commercial interior projects to join our Architectural Group in Salt Lake City. You will be involved in programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents. You will resolve complex technical and design issues, engage in space planning, and select furniture systems and specifications. Collaboration with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies is essential to meet project objectives. You will assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination, and participate in construction administration, including reviewing submittals and finish samples.

    Responsibilities

    + Resolve complex technical and design issues.

    + Engage in space planning.

    + Select furniture systems and specifications.

    + Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies.

    + Assist in managing client expectations and team communication.

    + Participate in construction administration and review submittals and finish samples.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit.

    + Knowledge of architectural design principles.

    + Experience in construction administration and design development.

    + Schematic design and construction document skills.

    + 7+ years of experience in interior design.

    + NCIDQ Certification.

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Professional degree in Interior Design or related discipline.

    + Sketching and graphic design skills.

    + Project management skills.

    + Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of administrative staff.

    + Collaborative and professional work ethic.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position is primarily office-based with a 9/80 schedule, allowing for every other Friday off, matched with holidays for four-day weekends.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
