Job Title: Construction Quality Control ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee and ensure the quality of our construction projects. The QCM will be responsible for implementing and managing quality control systems, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
+ Implement and manage quality control systems.
+ Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
+ Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
+ Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications.
+ Lead quality control meetings and training sessions.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in construction quality control processes.
+ Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 and the three-phase quality control process.
+ OSHA 30 and/or CQM certification.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality control, preferably in civil or federal projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in coordinating with subcontractors.
+ Leadership skills to manage quality control meetings and training.
Work Environment
The role offers a flexible work schedule, with work conducted onsite during projects and remote the rest of the time. The position is based in Blackstone, VA, or Chester, VA, and will require some travel throughout the state. Per diems and lodging will be provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
