    Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufacturing processes, components, and finished products. The QA Engineer will work closely with engineering, production, and service teams to develop and implement quality standards, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, implement, and maintain QA procedures and standards for manufacturing and assembly of recycling equipment.

    + Conduct inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process components, and final products.

    + Collaborate with engineering to review and improve product designs for manufacturability and quality.

    + Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

    + Create and manage documentation for quality metrics, non-conformances, and inspection reports.

    + Provide quality training to manufacturing teams and ensure compliance with company quality policies.

    + Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement.

    + Participate in internal and external quality audits.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.

    + Familiarity with mechanical assemblies, welding standards, and fabrication techniques.

    + Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis methods like 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagram.

    + Working knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or similar is a plus.

    + Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $51.00/hr.
