Job Title: Engineering AdministratorJob Description

This position provides various levels of administrative support for the North American Research and Development Division at the Arizona proving grounds. The role involves supporting budget activities, creating and maintaining charts for critical analysis, and assisting in the creation and tracking of appropriation requests for capital acquisitions.

Responsibilities

+ Provide administrative support for the North American Research and Development Division.

+ Support budget activities by creating and maintaining charts for analysis and corrective action.

+ Assist in the creation and tracking of appropriation requests for capital acquisitions.

+ Schedule meetings and assist with travel arrangements.

+ Process invoices and order supplies.

+ Maintain equipment databases and manage access control.

+ Prepare various documents as directed by management.

Essential Skills

+ Engineering administration

+ Scheduling and planning

+ Working knowledge of invoicing systems

+ Understanding of business accounting practices

+ Advanced knowledge of software applications

+ Purchasing principles and negotiating skills

+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate degree, or 5 years’ experience in an administrative role or a relevant field

+ Ability to learn new and customized systems

+ Ability to work well and cooperatively with people

Work Environment

The role is based in a dynamic research and development setting at the Arizona proving grounds. The position requires interaction with various systems and software applications. It involves maintaining databases and requires a collaborative approach to work, ensuring effective communication and cooperation with team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
