    Responsibilities

    Key Accountabilities:

    + Design, construct, fabricate, assemble, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems (primarily hydraulic, electrical and computer based equipment)

    + Perform a variety of tests utilizing electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and similar type systems and equipment

    + Support commissioning of new test equipment

    + Work with/from schematics, engineering drawings, written and/or verbal instructions

    + Operate related equipment

    + Analyse data to determine whether instrumentation is functioning correctly upon installation

    + Perform calibration and alignment checks, planning, modifications, and replacements as required

    + Work effectively and supportively in a team environment while being able to work independently with minimal oversight

    + Work with potentially hazardous equipment or on potentially hazardous test activities, following all safety equipment and processes mandated for those activities to complete them safely

    + Work directly with internal customers in a supportive and positive manner

    + Work in dynamic and deadline driven environment

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited university is required, with 5-8 years of relevant experience

    Required Skills:

    + Experience designing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic test systems

    + Experience assembling mechanical/electrical/hydraulic test systems

    + Experience working with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic test systems

    + Experience working with computer systems

    + Experience installing and working with instrumentation and test equipment

    + Ability to work from drawings and schematics

    + Ability to design and fabricate items required with minimal oversight

    + Experience working with various hand, power and machine shop tools

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in a test lab and/or flight test environment is a benefit

    + Programming and PLC experience
