Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Chicago is looking for a new Road Logistics Carrier Manager to join our Road Logistics team.You will play a key role in building and managing strategic partnerships with carriers. By understanding their capabilities and aligning them with our business needs, you’ll help secure competitive pricing and ensure capacity to drive growth in our network.
How you create impact
+ Collaborate with carriers to gain a deep understanding of their services, operational strengths, and capacity
+ Partner with Operations and Pricing teams to identify opportunities for strategic capacity and cost savings
+ Leverage the carrier network to secure competitive pricing and ensure capacity availability for new and ongoing business
+ Support Kuehne + Nagel’s strategic initiatives pertaining to carrier engagement and operations
What we would like you to bring
+ Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or other related field/eperience beneficial
+ 5+ years experience in Road Logistics Operations
+ 2+ years experience in Carrier Relationship Management
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills in order to identify and foster growth opportunities
+ Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Pricing, and Sales

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data. #LI-KE1
