    PCSI is looking for a Director of the People Team! The Director of the People Team is a critical role responsible for leading department projects with a focus on process innovation and training and development. In partnership with the Sr. VP of the People Team, the Director will set direction for the People team, developing strategic plans and programs and serving internal stakeholders. This position also directly oversees a portion of the People team, ensuring that this team carries out their responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws and organizational goals.

     

    We are looking for a well-rounded and results-focused human resources leader who can continue evolving a People team that lives PCSI’s values, delivers on its strategy, and attracts and retains a talented team. **This position is based out of PCSI’s corporate office in south Austin, TX.**

    What You'll Do as Director of the People Team:

    + Designs, implements, and administers human resource policies, programs, and practices to include staffing, benefits, compensation, labor relations, compliance, employment, employee relations, training, and development.

    + Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the organization’s human resource function and performance.

    + Lead and manage the delivery of key department projects by planning, executing, and monitoring progress from initiation to closure.

    + Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for fill of gaps.

    + Manage the budget and other financial measures of the People Team Department and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.

    + Stay current on recent federal, state and case law changes and monitors labor law updates that affect HR.

    + Continue improving the programs, policies, practices, and processes associated with resolving the strategic and operational people issues of the organization.

    + Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people along with SVP, of the People Team

    + Oversee adherence to EEOC and affirmative action program to achieve goals set by the organization.

    + Oversee the design and development of compensation strategy and programs.

    + Create strategic training and organizational development plans to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs and goals of the Company and employees. Conduct needs assessment develops training curriculum and conducts training sessions on HR topics.

    + Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    + Serves as the HIPAA Privacy Officer overseeing all ongoing development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the privacy of and access to protected health information in compliance with federal and state laws.

    What You'll Need:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, required. Master’s degree preferred.

    + Minimum ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, including people leadership, compensation, employee relations, training and development, and other strategic responsibility.

    + PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Ability to work selflessly in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    + Ability to resolve complex organizational issues and address individuals in conflict.

    + Highly self-motivated and directed, and able to set and manage priorities.

    + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

    Other Requirements:

    + Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.

    + May need to have the ability to legally drive a company vehicle.

    + Ability to gain approval for physical access to secure military base work locations. Restrictions vary from site to site.

    + Routinely operate a computer and other office productivity equipment and frequently exchange detailed information in person and over the phone; may be called upon to conduct briefings to groups.

    + Occasional travel may be required, up to 15% of workdays over a 12-month period.

    Required

    + Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration

    Preferred

    + Masters or better

    Experience

    Required

    + 10 years: Responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions

    + 10 years: Advanced level human resources experience
