TheProduction Planner Specialistis responsible for the creation, coordination, and execution of production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of finished goods based on company demand and scheduling parameters. This role involves close monitoring of inventory, material availability, and production capacity to support a seamless manufacturing process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and contributes to the strategic efficiency of the planning department.

• Utilize the planning system (ERP/MRP Planning Dashboard) to analyze & conduct the Weekly Planning MRP Dispatch & Warehouse Exception activities by developing a production plan to create, monitor, maintain & publish weekly & daily production schedules based on company demand and within the company established scheduling parameters. This involves determining the required suggested quantity, timeframes, and plans of the resources, such as manpower, equipment, and materials by utilizing the manning parameters, production standards and production specs to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.

• Oversee/ manage the updates & priorities of the weekly & daily production schedule as needed, ensuring that any changes or adjustments are promptly and accurately communicated to all relevant support teams. Daily coordination with operational support team to set production priorities. Monitor production planning activities through daily updates of the production schedule.

• Monitors inventory levels of finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels as well as materials for production jobs. Also communicate with internal and external parties to ensure timely delivery of materials and avoid shortages. Conduct analysis, develop a plan for OOS/low inventory products and monitor execution to the plan providing regular status updates to leadership.

• Responsible for the overseeing of the creating, maintenance, date sequencing and closure of Syspro production job work orders.

• Attend change control meetings & oversee planning activities within change control parameters for all new items, BOM item change revisions and batch for the production schedule. Including adding and/ensuring the Bulk shipper/UK/Euro special pallets/shrink film usage.

• Monitoring and updating the Rolling 3-week Inventory Monitor File

• Utilize knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles in all decision processes

• Prepare and present reports, charts, and tables detailing these inventory factors to company stakeholders to help inform inventory and production planning strategy decisions.

• Monitoring & prioritizing emails/responses

• Attend company and/or departmental trainings.

• Attend and conduct daily 2:30pm planning production meetings. Includes conducting the weekly Wednesday Production Planning 11:30am Meeting as needed.

• Attend and conduct departmental safety meetings. Friday’s every 2 weeks

• Adhere to company policies and procedures. They will follow all safety and CGMP requirements and ensure all Personal Protection Equipment dependent on job is use at all times.

• Monitor & document the Planning Coordinator position performance tasks/goals, attendance/vacations & disciplinary throughout the year. As needed.

• Train & develop the Planning & Inventory Coordinator positions. As needed.

• Create & conduct Year End performance with Planning Coordinator position.

• Morning team meeting and exercises

• Meet goal development as outlined within performance review.

• Employee must have ability to comprehend and carry out reasonable instructions from the Production Senior Planner as well as all members of management.

• Provides coverage for Sr. Planner and Planning Coordinator positions. As needed. -Back up to Inventory & Planning Roles

• Oversee & audit of the Inventory Control operational requirement & functions for all transactional processes within the company.

• Determine to identify & report on idle stock and obsolete items.

• Analyze documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

• Investigate & document inventory/planning issues, analyze root causes and provide solutions.

• Any other tasks provided by management as needed.

Requirements

+ Experience in the skillsets & concepts of production and inventory management – managing the complete flow of materials into, though, and out of the plant.

+ · Must have excellent professionalism, interpersonal skills, and communication (both verbal & written).

+ · Must have excellent organizational & prioritization (time management/multi-tasking) skills, able to adapt to changing priorities, initiative to learn cross functional tasks/responsibilities, and enthusiastic about seeking out opportunities for efficiency improvement.

+ · Must have people management experience/exposure. Experience working on a cross functional team.

+ · Must be able thrive in fast-paced ambiguous/ autonomous environment.

+ Must be able to demonstrate acute attention to detail when carrying out duties and strong problem resolution skills and ability to coordinate multi-discipline activities.

+ Ability to work both independently & collaboratively and make crucial decisions.

+ Must have basic understanding in fundamental database design and development. Ability to gather data from multiple sources and manipulate the data for analysis.

+ Must be able to execute training with computer software, especially databases and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel Mastery) & computer-based programs (Power BI Modeling & KPI development)

+ Ability to utilize and train employees on technology, processes, and procedures.

+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, instructions, or reports.

+ Preferred certificate within Inventory Management and/or Production Planning/ Supply Chain Management and Microsoft Data Programs
