Job Title: Production Worker (2nd/3rd shift)

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Worker where you will be responsible for loading and unloading parts from the production line, inspecting them for defects, and assembling parts according to specifications using hand tools. You will also perform inventory audits, reconcile daily electronic transactions, and ensure finished parts are ready for shipping.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload parts from the production line and inspect them for defects.

+ Assemble parts according to each specification using hand tools while keeping up with the speed of the moving production line.

+ Perform inventory audits and reconcile daily electronic transactions.

+ Mark defective parts for rework and place them accordingly.

+ Organize all finished parts into the shipping racks for customer delivery.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in material handling and working on an assembly line.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Proficiency with RF scanners and sit-down forklifts.

+ Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience with shipping and inventory management is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, with approximately 1500 employees at this location. While it is not fully climate-controlled, conditions are moderate and comfortable, unlike outdoor temperatures. Work shifts include a 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, scheduled from Sunday to Thursday night, and a 1st shift from 7am to 3pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.41 - $18.91/hr.
