Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
In this dynamic role, you will engage in a variety of tasks including cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, saw operation, and utilizing computer systems to ensure efficiency. Safety is the utmost priority in this position, and you will be expected to adhere to rigorous safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory data entry.
+ Operate forklifts and saws in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Utilize computer systems for inventory management and operational efficiency.
+ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in forklift operation.
+ Solid warehouse experience.
+ Material handling experience.
+ Strong computer knowledge and math reading skills, including ruler utilization.
+ Experience in cycle counting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 1 year warehouse and production experience in a metals or manufacturing-related facility.

Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse and production facility with high expectations for production efficiency. The facility employs 150-160 full-time employees. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, steel-toed shoes, and personal protective equipment provided by the employer. Work shifts are as follows: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr.
