Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder responsible for MIG or TIG welding of stainless steel. The role involves fitting and welding tasks, working accurately from blueprints and instructions, and performing light fabricating duties.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG or TIG welding on stainless steel materials.

+ Fit and weld components according to blueprints and instructions.

+ Engage in light fabricating tasks.

+ Ensure adherence to aerospace standards and specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in TIG welding.

+ Experience with welding techniques such as MIG welding.

+ Familiarity with materials like stainless steel, Inconel, Aluminum, and Titanium.

+ Understanding of aerospace fabrication standards, including D17.1.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous welding experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

+ Effective communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are a plus.

+ Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.

+ Capability to stand for extended periods.

+ Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
