    Job Title: Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will use an ear piece and wrist scanner to efficiently pick school and office supplies. In the shipping area, you will help palletize boxes and operate both a forklift and pallet jack. While most items are smaller, you should be comfortable with some physical labor, such as picking up boxes of paper weighing up to 50 lbs and building pallets with up to 100 boxes.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate Dock Stockers, Walkie Riders, and Pallet Jacks.

    + Unload and load trucks or trailers.

    + Wrap and stage pallets.

    + Assist in cross-training efforts.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in order picking/packing, shipping and receiving.

    + General labor and material handling skills.

    + Proficiency with RF scanners.

    + Warehouse shipping experience.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to stand for an 8-hour shift.

    + Forklift and RF scanner experience is preferred but not necessary.

    + Willingness to train on equipment such as dock stockers, walkie riders, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.

    Work Environment

     

    Our warehouse environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring both teamwork and independence. You will be using advanced equipment such as Dock Stockers, Walkie Riders, and RF scanners. The role involves standing for extended periods and handling materials up to 50 lbs. We value safety and provide the necessary training to ensure all team members operate machinery safely and efficiently.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.20 - $21.20/hr.
