    Soldering Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Soder Assembler to work on our first shift (7-3:30 pm) and second shift (3-11:30 pm). This role involves assembling components into final configured products using process and drawing instructions, blueprints, specialized tooling, fixtures, measuring equipment, and hand tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble components following process instructions, blueprints, and drawings.

    + Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operations sheets, and visual aids.

    + Set up and operate machines, tooling, and test equipment.

    + Perform rework on test failures according to standard repair procedures.

    + Incorporate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) into completed boards.

    + Verify product quality at required intervals and ensure accuracy of all work.

    + Operate material handling equipment and communicate effectively with team members.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in electronic assembly, blueprint reading, soldering, and wiring.

    + High level of soldering skills.

    + Experience in a similar role with knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-A-620, and IPC J-STD-001F standards.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and process worksheets.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certification in IPC-610, IPC-A-620, and IPC J-STD-001F is an asset.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.40 - $27.40/hr.
