Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

As a Production Supervisor, your role is to ensure seamless communication of production, quality, and breakdown information to the next shift supervisor and team leaders. You will also track daily production and key performance indicators (KPIs), report on this data, manage production scheduling, and create daily action plans based on demand, labor, and materials availability. A working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and manage a team of production associates.

+ Communicate production, quality, and breakdown information to the next shift supervisor and team leaders.

+ Track and report on daily production and KPIs.

+ Manage production scheduling and create daily action plans based on demand, labor, and materials.

+ Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production supervision, preferably within the automotive industry.

+ Strong in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

+ Proficient in quality control and quality assurance.

+ Experience with production planning and KPI tracking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

+ Experience in an OEM or Supplier automotive environment.

+ Experience with servant leadership.

This is a Direct Placement position based out of Smyrna, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $33.65/hr.
