Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
As a Production Operator, you will oversee the entire manufacturing process of magnet wire products in our state-of-the-art 700 building. Your role includes handling raw materials, operating and troubleshooting machines, and ensuring the quality of the production line. This position emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
+ Handle raw materials to prepare for production.
+ Load the production line by feeding raw wire as required.
+ Understand specification sheets to set machines when needed.
+ Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues while monitoring quality via HMI touchscreen.
+ Pull in-process enamel samples and document all required updates by hand.
+ Use overhead crane to move finished spools of wire.
+ Operate forklift to store finished products in the warehouse.
Essential SkilOur Client
+ Ability to work safely and without consistent supervision.
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
+ Willingness to be trained on a forklift.
+ Strong tenure at previous employers.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English.

+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask.

Work Environment
Work in our cutting-edge 700 building, which closely resembles a clean room and supports regulated environments such as Toyota automotive. The facility is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable and clean workspace. Operators work on a 2/2/3 schedule with 12-hour shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life structure.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
