    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our dynamic team. The role involves working in the Arches Department, assisting with wiring and bending metal, and operating hand power tools. This position requires a mechanically inclined individual with the ability to use a nail gun and perform medium to heavy lifting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with wiring and bending metal in the Arches Department.

    + Use hand tools, drills, and nail guns effectively.

    + Perform medium to heavy lifting tasks.

    + Operate hand power tools efficiently.

    + Assemble and palletize shipments.

    + Handle pulling, packing, and loading tasks.

    + Collaborate effectively within a team.

    + Maintain strong teamwork and communication skills.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of machine operator experience in manufacturing, specifically in assembly work.

    + Experience using a tape measure and power drill.

    + Ability to lift 20lbs to 40lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanically inclined with proficiency in hand tools.

    + Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    + Detail-oriented individual.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled, cooler in the winters and hotter in the summers. The facility is clean and large, divided into manufacturing, shipping/receiving, assembly, and testing areas for car washes. Workers may be assigned to any of these areas. The dress code is casual, with jeans and a t-shirt, and requires safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection provided. Steel-toed boots are mandatory.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
