• E&I Technician/Automation Specialist

    Looking for an **Automation Specialist** for a pharmaceutical company in Raleigh.

     

    Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide support in automation to our Production and Production Support staff

    • Troubleshoot Automated Control Systems Communication Networks, I/O Systems, Computer Based HMI (Human Machine Interface) including MS Windows 10/Server 2012 & Higher OS, Wonderware, etc.

    • Provide start-up support for new projects, Electrical/Instrumentation and Automation, read electrical drawings, instrumentation documentation, spec-sheets, loop drawings, connection drawings, PLC/DCS I/O Hardware Documentation, including power, and control drawings

    • Assist electrical and mechanical contractors with installing instruments, including connecting the control and power wiring, commission new instruments, and verifying configuration and calibration

    • Assist and mentor E&I Technicians with troubleshooting of our automated systems

     

    The keys for this role is that it is not a programmer but an automation technician that will be hands on and in the plant troubleshooting and resolving automation issues.

     

    POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Automated Control Systems. Assist Production and Production Support staff in troubleshooting Automated Systems such as, DCS, PLC, HMI, and Instrumented Controls.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $78000.00/yr.
