    Description

    We are seeking a reliable and safety-driven Shredder Operator to join our light industrial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating shredding equipment used to process metal, paper, or plastic waste, while also handling forklift operations to load and unload truck trailers for inbound and outbound materials.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Operate industrial shredders in compliance with safety and production guidelines

    -Use forklifts to move raw materials to the shredder and transport processed materials to designated areas

    -Safely load and unload materials from truck trailers using forklift or pallet jacks

    -Monitor shredder performance and report mechanical issues promptly

    -Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of shredding equipment

    -Adhere to quality assurance procedures and ensure proper labeling of shredded output

    -Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors for efficient workflow

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
