Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Laborers. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple divisions, including Commercial Air Vapor Barrier, Commercial Hot Applied, Commercial Traffic Coatings, Commercial Insulators, and the Specialty Group for new construction projects. The role involves assisting with construction labor work, demolition, and the movement of materials to new locations. This position demands physical strength and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly. You will also be required to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with construction labor work and demolition.

+ Move materials to new locations efficiently and safely.

+ Utilize hand and power tools in daily tasks.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

+ General labor and construction labor experience.

+ Ability to read a tape measure.

+ Experience with hand tools and power tools.

+ 2+ years of construction experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Ability to pass a 4-panel drug test.

+ Good attendance record, verified through references.

+ Capability to work in various weather conditions, verified through references.

Work Environment

You will work outdoors 100% of the time on commercial construction jobsites, adapting to all types of weather conditions. The work hours are from 6:45 am to 5 pm. You will start at the shop and ride in a company truck to the jobsites. The team size ranges from 1-3 people. The dress code requires candidates to provide their own leather boots, high visibility shirts, and hard hats, with jeans as acceptable attire (no shorts). Required tools include a 28 oz. hammer, 25' tape measure, utility knife with extra blades, chalk line with extra chalk, two sizes of Phillips screwdrivers, two crescent wrenches, and a nail pouch with hammer holder. Personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety glasses, and a high visibility vest/shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VERONA, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
