    Job Title: Pipefitter

     

    Job Type: Contract to hire

     

    Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4x10s), with occasional Friday overtime

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, and replacing piping systems and related components made from materials such as metal, plastic, ceramic, and composites. You’ll also install plumbing fixtures and ensure the efficient flow of water, steam, air, and other substances throughout buildings and infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assemble and install piping systems for water, steam, air, and other fluids.

    + Install vacuum systems, drainage, and sewage lines from buildings to connection points.

    + Assist with material handling and equipment setup for plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.

    + Support the demolition of old pump stations and construction of new ones under supervision.

    + Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 3–5 years of verifiable experience in pipefitting or related work.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

    + Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina (standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for extended periods).

    + Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

    + Clear communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Familiarity with various piping materials: ductile iron, steel, PVC, and horizontal pumps.

    + Experience in oilfield or natural gas station environments.

    + Ability to set control points and determine elevations on-site.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
