Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers quality care for high-risk babies, such as premature babies born at 32 weeks or later and babies born with low birth weight. In addition, St. Charles specializes in "couplet care," which stands apart from standard maternity nursing care. Job Details Our Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator (ANCC) will: Assist the Director of Maternal Child in delegating and coordinating nursing care activities of all patients on the nursing unit Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. What you’ll bring: Passion for Obstetrics/ Women's Health and an interest in growing as a leader in Nursing 1+ Years of RN experience working in Women's Health in a hospital based environment Previous leadership experience preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required Salary Range USD $63.38 - USD $66.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
