Overview Development Associate, Catholic Health Home Care and Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation Reporting to the Leadership Giving Officer, the Development Associate is the primary contact for all gifts made to Catholic Health Home Care and the Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation. Job Details Role/Responsibilities Receives, processes and books gifts in accordance with the requirements of the IRS, Catholic Health policies and instructions from the donor; Queries, analyzes and qualifies data to reconcile revenue with Finance on a daily basis; Owns primary responsibility for maintaining the consistency, integrity and accuracy of Catholic Health Home Care and the Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation’s donor CRM; Receipts and acknowledges all donations on a timely basis; Is able to train other development staff in Raiser’s Edge NXT web view and database view as needed; Prepares fundraising reports and maintains pledge reminders and billing systems as appropriate; Oversees the memorial opportunities program at the Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation; Assists the Leadership Giving Officer with the Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation’s Annual Brunch fundraising event and; Attends continuing education classes, conferences and seminars to enhance professional growth as needed. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree preferred Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications required. Experience in working with databases such as Raiser’s Edge will be preferred. The successful incumbent will be required to pass the Raiser’s Edge and NXT Professional Exams for 2025 if s/he does not already hold this qualification. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational and planning skills Availability to work occasional nights and weekends for donor meetings and special events Fundraising or related experience a plus. Must be able to handle several priorities simultaneously, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential. Must have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Salary Range USD $30.00 - USD $35.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
