Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is excited to announce an opening for a Solar Installer in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals who have a passion for renewable energy and are eager to contribute to our mission of providing sustainable solar solutions. As a pivotal member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the complete installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at residential and commercial properties throughout Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Install solar PV panels, inverters, and battery storage systems on rooftops and ground mounts.

+ Assemble and mount racking systems for solar arrays.

+ Perform electrical wiring, ensuring compliance with NEC and local building codes.

+ Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.

+ Ensure safety protocols and best practices are followed on site.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of installations, customer interactions, and project timelines.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in solar energy or related field preferred.

+ Experience in solar installation or related construction/trade work is a plus.

+ Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

+ Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.

+ Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.

+ Desire to pursue further certifications in solar technology is encouraged.
