Description

Our client is looking to add another person to their team supporting users in their Troy & Warren locations. This person will work with another on-site team member to ensure that users have functioning equipment and their network & systems are working properly. This role will be responsible for setting up and maintaining servers, workstations, and general network functionality. Day to day responsibilities will be centered around troubleshooting, system administration, capacity planning, and ensuring established network security principles are adhered too.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree is required. Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the work and will require someone to be able to attain an ITAR Compliance in the future (Roush provided).

Operating system environment: Windows 10 & 11 (completing 11 upgrade soon), Windows Server, Ubuntu, and Debian.

Imaging: Fog

Virtualization: Proxmox

Intune: End point management

Other tools: Ceeph.io, Ubiquiti Unifi, Jira, Confluence, FlexLM, Magic Draw, Bitbucket, Mac Radius, Sonar, Jenkins, Zabbix (monitoring), Wazuh, Rocket Chat, Gitlab, Endpoint Protector, and Threat Mod (infosec monitoring)

Knowledge of network diagramming software. (Microsoft Visio preferred)

• Ability to create scripts (VBScript, PowerShell, Perl, PHP and/or Python) - not required but Powershell would be preferential.

• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN and WAN to troubleshoot and address server issues.

• Knowledgeable on firewalls, proxy and databases to keep the network and user information secure.

• Must be able to act as a technical resource and participate for system/network projects and knowledge of back up.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and team members.

• Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
