This will be a direct hire role! Will work AR follow up and patient collections!

Will need to be able to go onsite for training the first few days but then will work remotely minus occasional meetings.

Hours: 8-4:30 M-F

Job Duties:

+ Will be handling medical collections past 180 days

+ Will predominantly work with Medicaid, Carefirst, Cigna and Aetna but will work with other payers as well

+ Make outbound calls

+ Take incoming calls

+ Resolve outstanding account balances via the necessary avenues (internal system)

+ Properly follow up on all correspondence received

+ Maintain a work file of accounts

+ Provide customer service to all debtors, with the intent to resolve the past due amount

+ Skip trace for better location information on debtors

+ Contact and follow up with insurance when necessary for account resolution

+ Meet and/or exceed monthly production standards and fee goals

REQUIRED SKILLS - 2-3 years of medical collections experience, or medical billing, claims!

- Cerner EMR experience is required

- High School diploma or equivalent

Commission based on perfromance in addition to salary rate!

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00/yr.
