    Import Customer Service Representative (CSR)

     

    Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    About the Role

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Import Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Baltimore. This role is critical in ensuring smooth import operations and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain and update customer files

    + Communicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction

    + Collect and verify all required import documentation

    + Input and validate data for ISFs and customs entries

    + Prepare commercial documents for entry processing

    + Apply knowledge of U.S. Customs and other regulatory agencies

    + Audit import documentation (entry summaries, invoices, certificates of origin, etc.)

    + Track and trace shipments via steamship lines and airlines

    + Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely billing

    + Perform additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in import operations or customer service

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment

    + Strong team player with the ability to work independently

    Preferred Skills

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Strong multitasking and time management abilities

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications

    + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

    + Proven customer service excellence

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
