Job Description TEKsystems is seeking a Systems / Network Engineer in Dahlgren, VA. Responsible for maintaining multiple computing environments by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance, and managing network configuration consistency. The Systems/Network Engineer will provide engineering, design, and implementation solutions for multiple network architectures. . Responsibilities: o Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, & other data networks. o Experience with network routers and switch configuration experience. Environment includes Artysen, Cisco, Mellanox and Asante switches. o Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance. o Perform network modeling and analysis. o Define diagrams and designs for business technology initiatives. o Enforce policies for standardizing systems. Requirement so Three years of experience in networking, IT, or other related fields preferred o Familiarity with researching communication networks o Must have strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills o Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, ability to write clear, concise project reports o Ability to function with minimal instruction or supervision, or as a part of larger team reporting to formal project

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
