    Position Title: Process Engineer

    **Travel Required:** Up to 10% of the time

    Description of Duties:

    The **Process Engineer** supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

     

    • Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies

    • Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material

    • Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities

    • Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps

    • Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities

    • Create metrics and reporting frameworks

    • Conduct process audits and compliance assessments

    The successful candidate will:

    • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Be detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

    • Have effective communication and presentation skills

    Basic Requirements:

    • Must have 3, or more, years of experience in process engineering, **or** related field

    • Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

    • Must have experience with process modeling tools

    • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

    Desired Requirements:

    • Have a Bachelor’s degree any STEM related field

    • Have a Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt)

     

    This position is expected to pay **$100,000 - $135,000** annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
