Salary: $1050 / Week

The School Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to students within a school setting. This position is responsible for applying the nursing process to ensure the health and well-being of students, while also potentially overseeing contracted services. The School Nurse provides care in alignment with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s philosophy, standards, policies, and physician directives.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deliver student/client care in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.

+ Maintain accountability for the nursing process and outcomes.

+ May supervise other healthcare professionals within contracted services.

+ Uphold Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s values and commitment to excellence in school-based care.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse).

+ Active nursing license in the state(s) of practice.

+ Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience (preferred).

+ Current CPR certification.

+ PPD test or chest x-ray (if applicable).

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation).

+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
