SENIOR MARKETING DIGITAL ANALYST
ABOUT YOU:
As a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that enhance Jostens’ understanding of the full customer journey. You will lead efforts to optimize channel performance, build and maintain interactive dashboards, and surface insights that guide business decisions across marketing, product, and digital teams. Your expertise in data visualization, web analytics, SQL, and stakeholder collaboration will help drive smarter decisions and measurable impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
YOU HAVE:
+ Education. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ Digital Analytics Expertise. 3–5 years of experience in digital analytics, with a proven ability to analyze performance across web, email, social media, and paid channels. Preferred A/B Testing Knowledge. Experience with tools like Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar.
+ Data Visualization Proficiency. Experience building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
+ Google Analytics & Tag Management Expertise. Advanced experience using Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and Google Tag Manager, including goal and event configuration.
+ SQL & Data Extraction Skills. Strong experience writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from large datasets. Preferred experience with Cloud & database tools. Knowledge of Snowflake, BigQuery, or relational database structures.
+ Insight Communication Skills. Ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights and communicate effectively to senior stakeholders.
+ Curiosity & Adaptability. Inquisitive, adaptable, and eager to explore the utility and limitations of available data. Preferred. Familiarity with UX-driven data storytelling and clean, scalable dashboard design.
+ Analytical Thinking. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
+ Detail Orientation. Highly organized with strong project management skills and comfort working with complex, imperfect data.
YOU WILL:
+ Analyze Digital Performance. Evaluate metrics across channels including web, email, social media, and paid media to uncover growth opportunities and performance gaps.
+ Develop & Maintain Dashboards. Build interactive dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track KPIs and share real-time performance updates.
+ Support Campaign Optimization. Provide campaign-level insights on traffic, engagement, and conversion to improve targeting and ROI.
+ Implement Web & Tag Tracking. Configure and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track behavior through events, goals, and funnels.
+ Extract & Manipulate Data. Use SQL to pull and clean data from internal databases, ensuring analysis is accurate and reliable.
+ Present Actionable Insights. Translate complex analysis into clear stories and visuals that inform marketing and digital strategy.
+ Collaborate Cross-Functionally. Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to implement data-driven improvements and share reporting solutions.
+ Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Less than 10%

Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents, and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports. Through executing across a variety of consumer touchpoints on jostens.com, social, e-mail and print materials, the team collaborates with internal partners to create relevant and timely marketing campaigns to meet the needs of our customers.
