Job Summary

Under some supervision, provide support to customers, contractors, and company personnel as appropriate to implement renewable energy resources programs for customer-sited projects. This could include, but is not limited to, managing program processes, coordination with other business unit functions on issues related to alternative energy resources, database management, and other general functions that may impact the programs. Coordinate projects and initiatives to support the strategy of the operating company to meet Alternative Energy Resources Portfolio Standards.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

AEP Ohio is seeking talented and motivated Alternative Energy Recourse Coordinator to become an integral part our team.

+ **Customer-Sited Renewable Energy Programs:** Serve as the main contact for customer inquiries. Secure agreements with customers. Educate and train installers, employees, and stakeholders. Validate customer system installations and energy generation. Enter generated energy data into GATS and manage RECs. Ensure timely payments to customers as per program terms. Assist in preparing reports and contribute to PUC compliance.

+ **Interconnection of Distributed Generation Facilities:** Act as the primary contact for inquiries and application processing. Oversee application fees and related business unit activities. Maintain the Distributed Generation database. Prepare reports and contribute to PUC compliance. Ensure proper application of relevant tariffs and riders.

+ **Contract Administration and Account Maintenance:** Support customer services in managing contracts related to schedules, tariffs, and riders. Assist in strategic planning for Alternative Energy Resources Portfolio Standards.

+ **Information and Policy Coordination:** Coordinate requests for information and policy interpretations. Stay updated on renewable energy technologies and applications.

+ **Training and Development:** Identify training opportunities for Customer Services, Solutions Centers, and field personnel aligned with Alternative Energy Resources goals.

+ **Additional Initiatives:** Support initiatives related to safety, policy development, customer complaint resolution, tariff interpretation, database management, metrics tracking, and technical calculations.

What We’re Looking For:

**Education Requirements:** Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Public Policy, Communications, or other related field.

**Experience Requirement:** Some previous experience with customer relationships and/or project management preferred but not required.

$72,380.00-90,474.50 USD
