    _POSITION SUMMARY:_

    Aids in the housekeeping program to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

    _ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_

    + Establish standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff

    + Assists in the planning of planning of work schedules to ensure adequate service

    + Inspects and evaluate physical condition of establishment

    + Assists with recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space

    + Other duties as assigned

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    + Manages five subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 60 employees in the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments

    + Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units

    + Directly supervises one non-supervisory employee

    + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

    + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

    Expected Contributions:

    + Ensures Big Cedar Culture continues to evolve and is sustained at a high level. Maintains Big Cedar service delivery at best-in-class and a subject of benchmarking

    + Coach Housekeeping leaders to practice leadership that drives Big Cedar culture and business objectives

    + Create and execute on plans to increase efficiencies and service levels in Housekeeping

    + Maintain high morale in the Housekeeping team

    + Ensure that the Housekeeping Department functions efficiently

    + Ensure that all rooms meet or exceed Big Cedar standards

    + In partnership with Housekeeping leadership, create and manage a training program that prepares new Associates to clean rooms in accordance with Big Cedar standards, increase productivity and reduce turnover

    _EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_

    + Or one to two years related experience and/or training

    + Or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Must have supervisory experience in the hospitality housekeeping field

    Requirements:

    + Possess a valid Missouri “E” or Arkansas “P” driver’s license

    + Clean and safe driving record

    + Extensive understanding of Housekeeping duties
