    Sr. Sales Intelligence Analyst

    PURPOSE/SCOPE:The Sr. Sales Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate new sales leads and uncover market opportunities by leveraging property intelligence platforms, internal sales, service, and CRM data. This role will synthesize comprehensive market insights from real estate transactions, new construction projects, lease activity, and competitive analysis to drive business growth and inform sales strategy. The Analyst will collaborate closely with field sales, sales enablement, and marketing teams to deliver actionable intelligence that supports Tennant’s growth objectives.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    Demand Generation & Market Analysis

    • Develop, manage, and continuously improve lead generation processes using internal and external property data sources.

    • Identify new business opportunities and competitive threats by analyzing real estate transactions, new construction, lease activity, and existing building data.

    • Integrate internal sales, service, and CRM data to enhance market segmentation and targeting.

    Insight Development & Reporting

    • Create and maintain actionable market intelligence reports and dashboards for sales and marketing teams.

    • Present findings and recommendations to sales leadership to inform go-to-market strategies and sales campaigns.

    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead generation and market intelligence initiatives.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with field sales, sales enablement, and marketing teams to align market insights with sales initiatives.

    • Support and train sales teams in utilizing market intelligence for prospecting and lead qualifications.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Monitor the effectiveness of lead generation and market intelligence programs, recommending enhancements based on data-driven insights.

    • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging data sources.

    Ad Hoc Analysis

    • Respond to urgent requests for market data, competitive analysis, or custom reporting to support business development and strategic planning.

    Miscellaneous

    • Support the execution of new projects, with a particular focus on those related to customer rewards programs and other strategic initiatives.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.

    • 3+ years of experience in market intelligence, business analytics, or sales operations (preferably in manufacturing or B2B).

    • Experience with CRM systems; familiarity with property intelligence platforms is preferred.

    • Strong analytical, data visualization, and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL & BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:

    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to non-technical audiences.

    • Intellectual curiosity and detail-oriented, with a drive for accuracy.

    • Ability to manage execution of activities against deadlines across multiple work-streams, providing proactive communication and demonstrating effective time management skills.

    • Ability to accurately identify, document and recommend solutions to business problems.

     

    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $77,200 - $115,800

     

    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
