Schedule:Tuesday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PMStatus: Full-TimePay:$22–$25/hour(DOE)

Praxis Health is seeking aGynecology Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic women’s health clinic. What You’ll Do:

+ Assist providers during exams and minor in-office procedures

+ Prepare patients and exam rooms with professionalism and compassion

+ Document vital signs and medical history in EMR

+ Educate patients and provide clear post-procedure instructions

+ Maintain sterile environments and manage instrument care

+ Coordinate lab work, follow-ups, and referrals with accuracy and care

+ Novasure Endometrial Ablation

+ LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure)

+ Hysteroscopy

+ IUD Insertion and Removal

+ Endometrial Biopsy

+ Pelvic and Breast Exams

+ Evaluation of Irregular Bleeding, Pelvic Pain, and More

What We’re Looking For:

+ High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

+ 1+ years of experience in OB/GYN or Women’s Health (preferred)

+ Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, etc.)

+ CurrentBLS certification(preferred)

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills

+ A calm, compassionate demeanor when working with sensitive issues

+ Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting

+ Team player who thrives in a supportive, high-functioning care team

Minimum Qualifications

General Physical Requirements

+ While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

+ The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.

+ The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

+ Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend and twist as needed. Requires walking on non-level surfaces, inside and outside the office, throughout the day.

+ W ork Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

OSHA Category This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
