Pay Rate: $73 - $78/hr
Job Description:
A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.
Position Responsibilities
Functional Analyst - TM will be responsible for the following job duties:
1. Gathering business requirements from the business.
2. Performing fit-gap analysis and identifying the customs development required to meet the business requirements.
3. Responsible for successful delivery of SAP TM process deliverables.
4. Provide solutions to the business requirements in the area of SAP Transportation Management (TM) functional areas including Advanced Shipping and Receiving based EWM integration, O2C and P2P integration, Transportation planning and optimization, GTS integration, EHS Integration, TM integration with third party systems and transportation reporting.
5. Design and implement business processes using best practices during a full lifecycle implementation of SAP TM; collaborating with business users to design, develop, test, train, and implement the solution.
6. Manage business requirement documentation, implement configurations, localize business processes, develop functional/technical specifications, create or modify batch jobs, and write test scripts by collaborating with application specialists.
7. Identify content and development requirements for process and system training and updating existing materials and developing new materials by liaising with the technical team.
8. Resolve issues by working with both business leaders and technical support personnel.
9. Develop and test system functionality by building strong working relationships with business partners, management, and other team members;
10. Develop training documents for users and train other team members and collaborate with team to meet project deadlines.
11. Develop Enhanced Objects on TM Business Objects and enhanced freight order standard FPM screens.
12. Active participation in the cut-over, GO-live and hyper-care activities.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
• 8-12 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management experience with strong configuration expertise
• Demonstrated ability implementing custom solutions within SAP TM by working cross functionally with logistics and transportation management professionals to meet business needs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of transportation planning and optimization, rate maintenance, freight costs, load tendering, and transportation reporting to provide functional and technical solutions to ensure business requirements;
• Demonstrated ability developing and implementing SAP Transportation Management module components within an ERP landscape;
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross functional integration of SAP TM with SAP SD, MM, EWM, GTS and EHS gained through completion of at least two SAP implementation projects.
• Demonstrated ability aligning business needs by gathering and understanding business requirements to reduce lead time for transportation planning of finished goods.
• Experience in Order Management, Transportation Planning, Freight Execution (Carrier selection and Tendering - Cost Distribution, Event Tracking & Monitoring), Settlement (Charge Management, Charge Calculations, Freight Settlement with Cost-Distribution).
• Good understanding & hands on experience of TM business processes (Order Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Freight Charges Calculation, Settlement & Invoicing).
• Good understanding of SAP TM Organizational Elements, TM Master Data & Structural element requirements
• Must have exposure to shipper scenario with all modes of transport Road, Air, Rail and Ocean.
• Good understanding of ABAP and BOPF.
• Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
