    Summary You will serve as a PRGRAM ANALYST in the TECHNICAL DIVISION(SP20), NAVIGATION BRANCH (SP24) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. Responsibilities You will manage and direct all aspects of Navigation Branch integration and installation requirements for ships and missiles. You will plan and develop advance work requirements and associated schedules; defines requirements for budgets and contract coverage of all navigation system field engineering support. You will plan for the navigation portion of the overhaul, back fit conversion, and forward site work packages. You will specify the required step by step installation procedures and all the in-port and at-sea testing that must be conducted to certify the missile performance at specified levels. You will direct the development, conducts reviews of and approves for missile and ship navigation or navigation related installation procedures and testing. You will resolve any technical, support requirement or deviation and policy anomalies. You will represent the Branch at Test Documentation Group (TDG) meetings where SSP test policy is interpreted and documented. You will monitor and produce program status reports covering all areas of documentation support for design, production, installation and test program during overhaul and conversion. You will determine overall requirements for maintenance support, including personnel levels and general and special test equipment to support the missile and ship system Navigation Subsystem. You will provide technical reviews of ship inspection reports, Trouble Failure Reports (TFRs), approved SPALTs, conjunctive SHIPALTs, and design drawing changes to support ship modification to meet operational requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical information for input into the development of plans for engineering support for maintenance/modernization of ships and missiles navigation systems programs. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Navy Nuclear Deterrent Mission. a relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee.
