This is a contract position. You must be an established Independent Contractor to be considered. This Independent Contractor opportunity is 10-15 hours per week during training (up to 2 months) and for up to 20 hours per week, after trained, and dependent upon courses offered. You must be available to work hours matched to Pacific times. The general availability is 8am-8pm and is determined by a mix and match of courses, and times offered, as agreed upon. Handling mid-day early-afternoon courses is a strong preference. This contract will pay is $22-27 per hour dependent upon your qualifications and experience.

About This Position:

As a Contract Course Host this opportunity requires a fine balance of live presentation, communication and highly technical skills. You must have an ability to "read" a room.

Responsibilities may include:

+ Independently host and drive 1-5 live zoom programs and pre-recorded video and audio online programs per week

+ Represent Shift Network in a professional, warm, engaging and trustworthy way while interfacing with the students, faculty, and colleagues

+ Operation of Zoom during live and pre-recorded online programs, including troubleshooting of both hardware and software, including external cameras, microphones, etc.

+ As mutually agreed upon, connects weekly with the Faculty, Course Manager, to review course needs and debriefs and attend Host meetings

Qualifications and Characteristics Desired:

+ 2-3 years administrative experience, excellent customer support skills, ability to read a room

+ Experience in hosting zoom programs, online, with comfort and confidence in public speaking

+ Competence and confidence with technology platforms and internet, including:

+ Zoom

+ Google Docs

+ Facebook

+ Slack

+ PowerPoint

+ Media players

+ Asana, Confluence and Airtable preferred

+ Knowledge of transformational content, including leading teachers, schools of thought, and market trends preferred

+ Must have established, fully-functional office with reliable office equipment including high-speed internet connection, ethernet, high computer speed, and quiet environment to host public programs

+ 1-2 years remote office experience, strongly preferred
