Architectural Designer

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a creative and driven Architectural Designer for our Westminster, CO office. This position affords the opportunity to be part of a growing team working on all phases of a diverse array of multi-disciplinary project types and an excellent opportunity for career growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail oriented, and exhibits a commitment to design excellence as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Participate in all project phases including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration

+ Integrated Revit modeling and related project document development including renderings, plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and specifications

+ Develop high-quality, accurate project documents

+ Attend meetings with clients, consultants & contractors, and make regular project visits

+ Provide research and create graphics to support business development and marketing activites

+ Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project team across multiple offices

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

+ Master's degree a plus

+ 2-5 years of professional experience and on ARE licensure track

+ High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CS & MS-office

+ Experience in architectural design, detailing, building systems codes and construction techniques

+ Thorough understanding of architectural practice and project delivery

+ Experience with coordination of clients and multi-disciplinary consultants

+ Strong creative, problem-solving and technical skills

+ Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as within a virtual setting.

+ Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 per annum *

*Salary commensurate with relevant professional experience and credentials
