    Legal

     

    Bring your skills and experience as a labor and employment attorney, also supporting the Ethics & Compliance function for Bell Textron Inc\., a military and commercial helicopter company\. This position is based at the company's Ft\. Worth, TX headquarters, but supports all global locations\. This position reports to the Deputy General Counsel of Litigation and provides legal analysis and opinions to Bell's business units, functions, and senior management on a broad range of issues pertaining to employment law, regulatory compliance, ethics, company policies, litigation, and audits\.

    What you'll be doing as a Senior Attorney:

    + Be the primary attorney devoted to labor and employment\.

    + Deliver timely, practical legal and business advice to Bell's domestic and international operations\.

    + Provide legal guidance on a variety of Ethics and Compliance related issues and policies including Global Anti\-Corruption Compliance \(GACC\), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act \(FCPA\), U\.S\. Anti\-Money Laundering Compliance \(AML\), conflict of interest, gift and hospitality requests, Know Your Customer \(KYC\) reviews, Textron Ethics & Compliance helpline investigations, compliance training, record retention, domestic consultant management, and Compliance Risk\-Assessment\.

    + Partner with the Human Resources and Labor Relations to identify and resolve existing legal issues as well as anticipate and plan for approaching legal issues\.

    + Manage outside counsel on labor and employment litigation\.

    + Support labor and employment matters before local, state, and federal administrative agencies\.

    + Develop and deliver training on a broad range of labor and employment issues\.

    + Moderate travel is possible\.

    Qualifications

    Skills You Bring To this Role:

    Productive, organized, self\-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously\.Strong work ethicStrong verbal and written communication skills are required\.Proven ability to work cooperatively and influence others with high degree of professional ethics and integrity\.Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives\.Experience with international labor and employment issues is preferred, especially Canada, Singapore, and the Czech Republic\.

    What you need to be successful:

    5 years combined experience in labor and employment law practice, either at a law firm or in the labor and employment practice of an in\-house legal department\.

     

    If the experience is with an in\-house legal department, a global company with manufacturing operations is preferred\.

     

    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four\-year university is required\.J\.D\. from an ABA\-accredited law school is required\.Good standing with at least one State Bar is required\.Experience with U\.S\. union negotiations is preferred\.Experience in domestic and international ethics and compliance and investigations preferred\.
