**UW Medicine** has outstanding opportunities for Nurse Technicians at our three hospital locations - **Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center - Montlake, and UW Medical Center - Northwest** . Clinical areas requesting Nurse Techs could include med-surg, oncology, neurology, cardiology, rehab, behavioral health, surgical, progressive care, ICU, emergency, transitional care, and perinatal.

+ Harborview Medical Center - October 23, 2025
+ UW Medical Center - October 30, 2025 **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist in providing direct care, collect and document data gathered during the delivery of care and communicate findings and changes in patient condition to the supervising RN.
+ Collaborate with the other disciplines as appropriate to provide continuity of patient care from admission to discharge.
+ Perform a variety of tasks including transporting patients, supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking supplies; and ensuring patient safety through monitoring and assessment, safe patient mobilization and hygiene activities. **ORIENTATION SCHEDULE:** If you are offered a position, there is a required initial two session class orientation.
+ Day One (October 23 or October 30, 2025): New Employee Orientation - 2:30pm-8:00pm In-Person
+ Day Two: Specialized Nurse Tech EPIC training & access - 3pm-6pm Virtual **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Must be currently enrollment in a Washington State Board of Nursing approved Nursing Education Program and have at least 6 months to work prior to graduation.
+ Must have completed at least one clinical rotation by the start of Orientation.
+ BLS certification, resume, one clinical evaluation, and completed school Skills Checklist are required.
